Job Title: Expert Trainer Needed for EMV Card Personalization (Entrust DS4/MATICA S6200) & Thales HSMs
Project Description:
I specialize in electronic payments and card issuing. I'm looking for an experienced technical consultant to provide in-depth, practical training on EMV card personalization.
The training must focus on either the Entrust Datacard DS4 or the MATICA S6200/S7000 personalization systems with, if possible, specific emphasis on cryptographic integration using Thales payShield 9000 or 10K HSMs.
Scope of Training:
I expect a comprehensive walk-through of the personalization lifecycle, including:
- Hardware Overview & Setup: Best practices for configuring the Entrust DS4 or MATICA S6200.
- Data Preparation: Understanding the data flow, profile creation, and handling EMV data generation.
- Key Management & Cryptography: Hands-on guidance for securely handling keys and integrating the personalization process with Thales payShield 9000 or 10000 HSMs.
- Software Configuration: Setting up the respective personalization software and managing machine parameters.
- Quality Control & Troubleshooting: Common errors, mechanical vs. software troubleshooting, and validation of the personalized chip.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven hands-on experience operating and configuring either Entrust DS4 or MATICA S6200 systems in a production environment.
- Deep understanding of EMV standards, smart card personalization workflows, and data preparation.
- Direct experience configuring and issuing commands to Thales payShield 9000 or 10000 HSMs for EMV key management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex hardware and cryptographic interactions clearly.
Project Deliverables:
- Live training sessions (via video call/screen share).
- Q&A sessions with our technical engineering team.
- Standard operating procedure (SOP) documents or reference materials regarding machine setup and HSM integration if possible.
