Cryptography Research Project: OT (Oblivious Transfer) extension implementations
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I'm looking for a skilled researcher in the field of cryptography, specifically focused on Oblivious Transfer (OT). Find all OT extension implementations and compare them for efficiency and security (sometimes the security assumptions are different hence the security levels are also different. Efficiency can be compared in terms of average memory usage and average time required to complete one OT/OTe of same size in different libraries).
Key Requirements:
- Strong background in cryptography
- Proven experience in conducting research within this field
- Ability to evaluate security and efficiency of cryptographic libraries
- Familiarity with the implementation of OT in different environments, particularly within OT libraries.
The primary goal of this project is to provide an in-depth evaluation of the security and efficiency of various existing OT libraries. The research should be extensive, providing a comprehensive analysis of OT in various environments.
Have a rough idea of the following:
1. Secure multiparty computation
2. Semi-honest, and maliciious adversaries
3. Oblivious Transfer (1 out of 2 OT, 1 out of n OT, and OT extensions)
4. Implementation of OTe is already available in many libraries (examples: libOTe, SimplestOT, PVW etc).
Skills:
- Cryptography
- Research
- Security Evaluation
- OT Libraries
- Efficiency Analysis
Experience:
- Previous research in cryptography
- Knowledge of OT and its security considerations
Please note that the evaluation should be detailed and provide actionable insights for the implementation of OT in different libraries.
