Recover Cached Wallet Seed Image

Job ID: 40386608

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I recently generated a 24-word recovery phrase for a crypto wallet while using Brave on my MacBook (macOS Ventura). I am now trying to retrieve that phrase—or at least the screenshot Brave displayed—by digging through the local browser cache. I still have the exact URL where the phrase was shown and can walk you through every step I took on the site.

What I need from you is straightforward: locate and extract any image files Brave may have stored of that page during the session. A recovered PNG, JPG, or WebP of the phrase is ideal, but if you uncover the text itself in a different format, that’s a welcome bonus.

You can follow the exact steps I did to create a phrase yourself as a real life test case and use your computer skills to determine if, and how the information is stored (if at all)

Deliverables (all files can be zipped together):
• That you successfully created a crypto wallet at first ledger and were provided a 24 word phrase, that you then were able to find within your hard drive
• A detailed set of instructions to me on how to find that phrase, if it can be retrieved (i.e. the retrieval method or tool path you used (e.g., cache extraction via Terminal, ChromeCacheView, SQLite inspection) so I can validate or replicate the process in the future

Please be comfortable working with Brave/Chromium cache structures on macOS and have a forensic approach that preserves the original metadata where possible.

The website is https://firstledger.net and I don't believe that I saved a file (encrypted or otherwise)
