Local Litecoin-Clone Pool Setup
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a complete, locally hosted mining-pool environment for a brand-new cryptocurrency that forks Litecoin. The pool will run inside a Linux virtual machine on my VMWare infrastructure and must point to an existing full node that I already keep online under Windows. To validate the installation I’ll connect an Antminer L3+ and run a short benchmarking session.
Here is the core of the job:
• Build or select a stable Linux distribution in VMWare, secure it, and install all pool prerequisites (Redis, MySQL/MariaDB, dependencies, firewall rules, etc.).
• Recommend and deploy the most suitable pool software for a Litecoin-based coin—something lightweight, CLI-driven and proven for Scrypt (for instance Yiimp, NOMP, or a comparable stack). A web front-end isn’t required; terminal or web API access is fine.
• Link the pool to my Windows node via the correct RPC credentials, confirm block submission, and tune stratum ports for the L3+.
• Deliver a concise runbook showing each command used, configuration files, and how to start/stop or expand the pool.
