Due diligence of a crypto investment strategy
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have received very bad detailed excel files, regarding the crypto investment strategy. Spoke with the person in charge of it, I have a feeling that his strategy is a pure garbage. Apparently, he buys/sells cryptocurrencies, who are mostly volatile to the price of BTC (1% increase = 10% increase in his crypto choice, for example). It is not a unique strategy, but apparently, he is getting "unlimited" profits from them
Looking for the following tasks to be completed:
1. Explain in business or good English what his strategy is about?
2. Write a 1-2 pages in word/pdf, describing this strategy - solid understanding of the investing strategy that was used, what is the reasoning behind it, and any risks associated with it
3. Check the accuracy and completeness of the data in the Excel file. Is it manipulated or it is reliable? (very important to know the exact time and price that the transaction was completed)
4. What are the profits generated by the strategy? Compare them to industry benchmarks and other similar strategies. Also, look at the volatility of the returns, drawdowns, and the consistency of the returns over time
5. Finally, I need a detailed excel file, regarding the transactions, with accurate explanation about them. How profitable it is? What is not listed in the file? Why or why not this strategy is risky?
In the excel attached, there are 3 pages in excel (1 - trades completed, 2- cryptos used, 3- random p/l bull)
I need to present this file to serious people, who give me 5 minutes for the presentation. I can't just rush in and say that this strategy sucks. Therefore, presentation is highly important (both word and excel files)!!!
