Crypto Accountant / Digital Funds Manager - Philippines Market

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detailed-oriented Crypto Accountant Digital Funds Manager to manage our digital asset transactions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and navigate complex crypto tax compliance.
You will reconcile blockdown data, calculate cost basis for crypto transactions, and maintain compliance with evolving regulations.
Responsibilities:
Transaction Reconciliation:
- Reconcile crypto transactions from wallets, exchanges, and DeFi protocols.
Asset Tracking:
- Track, and report cost basis and capital gains/losses on ceyptocurrency holdings.
Financial Reporting:
-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Accurate reporting of how much, which country, and what source funds were received and sent to.
- Receive crypto and do transactions from Business to Business.
Tax Compliance:
- Assist in the preparation of crypto-related tax computations, including income, capital gains, and international compliance.
Internal Controls:
- Implement and monitor internal controls for digital asset management.
Technology Implementation:
- Utilize specialized crypto accounting tools and traditional ERP systems.
Required Qualification and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Experience:
- 1-3 years+ of professional accounting experience.
- With at least 1 year focused on cryptocurrency or digital assets.
Crypto Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, wallet management, and crypto transaction types.
Analytical Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle large datasets.
Compliance Awareness:
- CPA or candidate for CPA certification.
- Experience with specific crypto accounting software.
