The Museum of Western Philosophy is a new initiative in Berlin dedicated to exploring and celebrating the history of Western philosophy. Our mission is to inspire critical thinking and foster appreciation for philosophical traditions through exhibitions and educational programs.
Role Description
We are seeking a freelance crowdfunding campaign manager to run our museum’s crowdfunding campaign from start to finish. This is a commission-based, project-specific role, suitable for an individual with a proven track record in managing crowdfunding campaigns, ideally for cultural or museum projects.
The campaign manager will be responsible for:
Planning and executing the crowdfunding strategy
Managing campaign communications and updates
Designing and promoting donor/reward tiers
Coordinating marketing efforts and social media outreach
Ensuring smooth operation of the campaign on the chosen platform
This is a remote-friendly role, but occasional on-site presence in Berlin may be required for meetings or events.
Qualifications
Experience successfully running crowdfunding campaigns a must!
(Ideally for cultural, museum, or nonprofit projects)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
Knowledge of crowdfunding platforms and online fundraising best practices a must!
