Freelancer Club, an award-winning community platform, is helping new and established freelancers access the necessary education, support, and opportunities to take the next step in their journey.
By 2027, it is predicted that there will be more freelancers than employees in the US and yet a lack of education and resources is resulting in startlingly high failure rates.
Freelancers need to know a little about a lot. It can feel daunting to transition from education or employment into a freelance business. Finding new clients, striking the right work-life balance, and growing a business can be extremely daunting and have an impact on mental well-being.
Freelancer Club is designed to support and empower individuals looking to develop their freelance careers. We place an emphasis on education, community, and work in an inclusive environment.
We are a 7-year-old bootstrap, that has recently hit 50,000 members and this year successfully launched in New York, our first non-UK territory. To date, have facilitated over 200,000 connections between freelancers and companies using our ethical hiring framework of fair payment, diversity, and inclusion.
We've worked with some major players in the industry, from ITV, Sky, and the BBC to Vivienne Westwood, LandRover, and Doc Martins.
Our No Free Work and Ethical Hiring campaigns have been featured in Forbes, the Financial Times, BBC Radio 1, and others as we aim to build a fairer, inclusive, and better working environment for all.
Now, as we enter a new era of work and companies embrace a flexible model, we are aiming to capture the market at this poignant moment in time.
We are ready to take the next step in our growth strategy and require investment for the first time to achieve our mission. To do this, we are looking for a freelance crowdfunding expert to guide us through the process, offer advice on crowdfunding platforms, and manage the project to completion.
If you share our values and want to be at the forefront of a freelance revolution, we'd love to hear from you.
