Zoho Books to send Payment Information Email
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We need an automation to request payment information for certain leads through Zoho Books so that we can securely obtain and save their credit card information for charging later in Zoho Books. Our leads are located in the Leads section of Zoho CRM.
Zoho Books allows us to do this manually by sending the email called “Request Payment Information.” However, I would like this automated so that every designated lead provides their cc information after they sign our fee agreement.
We use Zoho Sign for our clients to sign a fee agreement. Thus, it would be ideal to collect payment information after they sign a fee agreement in Zoho Sign. However, since we have a number of Zoho Sign templates, it would probably be easiest to have a condition that payment information is requested if the client signs any document in Zoho Sign AND the new client is obligated to pay us some amount of money (custom fields with financial data exist in Zoho CRM) AND the PNC lead stage is "Fee Agreement Out".
Once the client fills in their payment information, the next step is to use that credit card to charge the initial payment right away as indicated in our custom CRM fields. Also, set up any recurring invoices indicated in the CRM field.
2 bank accounts have been set up in Zoho Books. One is set up through Authorize.net and is our company's Operating account. The other is set up through Stripe and is my Trust account. Zoho Books must deposit the clients' charge into the correct account based on the name of the field in CRM.
