ZOHO CRM expert who knows custom functions!

Good morning,
My company uses ZOHO CRM on a daily basis with multi-users and we have a problem with a custom function developed by a consultant with whom we no longer work.
The function in question automatically calculates a progressive code relating to the sales order and establishes the order number, however it presents a problem. In fact, sometimes it happens that if a user inserts an Order assigned to a Customer loaded into the database by another user, this progressive code is not calculated and remains empty. This implies that the Order remains without a number but above all entails the fact that this last order in the list of Sales Orders is listed behind the others, thus becoming difficult to identify because it is in a random position. The other problem is that when the code is not calculated, the last order entered and which had the code assigned is automatically changed and the code of this last order goes up one position.
So I need a Zoho expert who knows the custom functions and who can correct this error. The CRM is used daily therefore it is necessary that the modification be made in a development environment to verify correct functioning and then uploaded to the work environment.
