School Management Information System (MIS)

We are seeking an experienced developer or team to deliver a comprehensive School Management Information System (MIS), including full source code, developed in up-to-date PHP-Laravel with MariaDB or PostgreSQL database backend.

The system should be modular, and cover both academic and administrative functions to streamline school operations, at least:

Student & Academic Management
- Student registration & admission
- Class, section, and subject management
- Attendance tracking
- Gradebook / Report cards
- Exam scheduling & marks entry
- Timetable management

Staff Management
- Teacher/staff profiles
- Role-based access control
- Attendance and leave tracking, substitution
- Payroll management (basic)

Finance Management
- Fee structure and collection
- Invoices, receipts, and payment tracking
- Basic accounting (expenses, income)

Administration
- School profile & academic year setup
- Classroom and device management
- Transport & route management (optional)
- Library management (optional)

Reports & Analytics
- Attendance reports
- Grade and exam performance reports
- Statistics (day, week, month, year)
- Custom report generation (CSV/PDF export)

Communication & Portals
- Student and parent portals
- Messaging system (in-app, email and sms notifications)
- Event/calendar management

The user-interface should be modern, responsive, mobile-friendly, easy to understand (user-friendly), and support multiple languages.

Applicant is expected to deliver:
- a clean, well-documented source code, in up-to-date PHP-Laravel
- database schemas (in form of Laravel migration) for MariaDB or PostgreSQL
- deployment guide / installation documentation
- brief user manual or admin guide
- one example school as a working demo
