Insurance Claims Support Assistant Needed

Job ID: 39817668

Budget: $600 – $700 USD

I’m looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Claims Support Agent who can keep our roofing and restoration claims moving forward without a hitch. The heart of the job is timely follow-ups: every phone call returned, every email answered, every carrier request met on or before deadline. To make that possible you’ll also be keeping all claim-related documents organized, logging every touchpoint in our CRM, and flagging any approaching due dates long before they become urgent.

Day to day you’ll gather adjuster reports, photos, estimates and approvals, store them in the correct folders, and mirror that structure inside the CRM so the whole team sees the same, up-to-date information. You’ll reach out to homeowners in plain, friendly language to confirm appointments or request missing paperwork, then note the results so anyone can pick up the thread. When a claim hits a milestone—inspection scheduled, supplement approved, final invoice paid—you’ll generate a brief report and push it to the claims lead for sign-off.

Internal coordination is just as important. If production needs a permit number or accounting needs a depreciation status, you’ll be the one tracking it down and making sure the answer lands in the right hands. At the end of each day I expect a concise activity summary: what moved forward, what’s waiting, and where you need my input.

Success is simple to measure here. All follow-ups occur within the agreed SLA. Every document is filed correctly, named correctly, and visible in the CRM. Homeowners know exactly where their claim stands because you’ve told them. And if a deadline is coming, I know about it well in advance because you flagged it.

If you’ve handled insurance files before, especially in roofing or property restoration, you’ll ramp up fast—but a proactive communicator with strong organizational skills will do just as well. Let me know your experience with claim documentation, CRM platforms, and homeowner communication, and tell me how you keep yourself accountable for tight timelines. I’m ready to get started this week.

Compensation

$300 - $375 USD biweekly (depending on experience).
