I need to enrich my existing WordPress site with true customer-management power. The goal is a robust contact database that lives inside WordPress, lets me see every customer at a glance, and spares me from juggling spreadsheets.

Here is what the finished piece must do for me:

• Search & Filter Contacts – instant, responsive searching (name, email, tags, any custom field) with filter combinations that don’t slow the admin area.
• Import / Export – bulk CSV upload and download with field-to-field mapping, duplicate detection, and an undo option in case I upload the wrong file.
• Custom Fields – easy UI to add, edit, reorder, and hide custom fields without touching code; those fields must appear in search, filters, and exports automatically.

Everything must slot cleanly into WordPress: follow WP coding standards, use existing roles/permissions, respect the site’s theme styling on any front-end forms, and keep performance light (no massive queries on every page load).

You’re free to build on a reputable CRM plugin or create a bespoke module—what matters is maintainability and clear documentation so I can upgrade WordPress without fear.
