Crestron Integration Training Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am about to commission a meeting room that will later scale to several conference spaces and a ballroom. All rooms share a Crestron backbone, and I want to be fully confident with every step of the integration process before I touch a live system.
What I need to master
• Touch screen control – designing and deploying VT Pro-e panels that feel intuitive to non-technical users.
• Lighting and shades control – linking Crestron modules to the architectural dimmers and motorised shades so scenes recall cleanly every time.
• Programming with Crestron software – writing, commenting, and troubleshooting SIMPL Windows (and SIMPL+ when required), then validating in Crestron Toolbox.
Hardware in scope for the first room
Scissor lift for the projector, wall-mounted touch panels, and PTZ cameras all have to sit on the same program, report status correctly, and respond instantly to presets.
Deliverables
1. A structured training session (remote or on-site) that walks me through building the meeting-room program from scratch.
2. Sample project files and VT Pro-e pages I can adapt for the larger spaces.
3. A quick-reference guide that shows where each device is mapped inside SIMPL Windows and how to expand the logic for additional rooms.
4. One follow-up session to review my work and fine-tune any problem areas.
Acceptance
I’ll consider the engagement complete when I can load the program, operate the touch panel, raise/lower the scissor lift, switch camera presets, and trigger lighting/shade scenes without errors or lag.
If you have real-world experience commissioning similar multi-purpose venues and can explain best practices clearly, I’m ready to get started right away.
