Creo 9 Aircraft Sting Assembly
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
The complete aircraft is already built in Creo 9 (individual part files plus the ASM001 top-level assembly). I now need a Sting support that mates with this model exactly as outlined in the Sting Balance Manual.
Phase 1 – Sting support
Start by creating the Sting support as a standalone Creo 9 part. Keep clear of the rear engine envelope; the wings are the most critical references for alignment. Medium geometric fidelity is fine—surface continuity and overall dimensions must match the manual, but there’s no need to model every fastener at this stage. Once the support file is ready, send it for a quick fit-check before moving on.
Phase 2 – Connector concept
Propose and model an interlocking connector that joins the aircraft to the Sting. I specifically want an interlocking solution rather than a bolt-on or welded joint so that the rear engine remains untouched. Explain briefly (a paragraph or sketch inside Creo) how the connector engages with the internal structure and how it can be removed without disturbing the engine.
Phase 3 – Final assembly
After approval of the connector, integrate everything into a single Creo 9 assembly: aircraft, connector, and Sting support. Verify clearances, mass properties, and reference datum consistency with the manual.
Deliverables
• Creo 9 part file for the Sting support (submitted first)
• Connector part file and short explanatory note
• Final Creo 9 full assembly (.asm) with all dependent parts
All native files must open cleanly in Creo 9 without regeneration errors. Let me know if you need any additional dimensions or the manual sections clarified.
