Mixed-Use Mortgage Underwriter Needed

I’m seeking an experienced mortgage underwriter who is fully comfortable working on mixed-use deals. My immediate need is for someone who can take a file from initial review through final sign-off, handling and training someone
• Credit analysis that digs beyond surface ratios and flags any red-flag behaviour early.
• Thorough review of borrower financials—personal and business—so our risk picture is crystal-clear.
• Careful evaluation of third-party appraisals to be sure the mixed-use component is properly valued and the report aligns with current market standards.
You’ll have direct access to all supporting documents, appraisal reports, and my notes on borrower strategy. I work primarily in PDF and Excel, so familiarity with common underwriting tools and the usual LOS platforms will help you hit the ground running.
Turnaround time and depth of commentary are key decision factors for me. If you can quickly spot inconsistencies, articulate your conditions with clarity, and package a well-supported credit memo, we’ll be a great fit.
