About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative YouTube Channel Manager to run and grow a faceless YouTube channel. The ideal candidate is someone who understands the full YouTube ecosystem—from content planning and SEO optimization to managing production teams and ensuring top-tier video quality. You’ll be responsible for the entire channel lifecycle: strategy, content, performance, and growth.
✅ Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Planning
Research and develop engaging faceless video ideas based on trends and audience interest.
Build and manage content calendars.
Conduct competitor analysis and niche exploration.
Scriptwriting & Storyboarding
Write or supervise high-retention, engaging scripts.
Ensure content follows narrative flow, pacing, and YouTube audience psychology.
Video Production Management
Hire and manage freelance editors, voice-over artists, scriptwriters, and thumbnail designers (or be able to do these yourself if needed).
Ensure high-quality edits with strong pacing, motion graphics, stock footage usage, sound effects, and royalty-free music.
SEO & Optimization
Conduct keyword research and optimize titles, descriptions, and tags for maximum reach.
Craft click-worthy thumbnails and titles while avoiding clickbait.
Upload & Scheduling
Handle uploads, schedule videos, and maintain consistency.
Add timestamps, cards, end screens, playlists, and pinned comments to increase watch time and engagement.
Analytics & Growth
Track KPIs: CTR, watch time, retention rate, RPM, etc.
Make data-driven decisions to improve future videos and scale the channel.
Run A/B tests on thumbnails and titles.
? Requirements:
Proven experience managing or growing faceless YouTube channels (please share links to channels or portfolios).
Deep understanding of YouTube’s algorithm, audience retention strategies, and monetization.
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead a remote creative team.
Excellent written English for scripting, communication, and creative briefs.
Ability to spot viral trends and turn them into high-performing content.
Familiarity with tools like:
VidIQ / TubeBuddy / Ahrefs / Google Trends
Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / After Effects (or ability to direct editors who use them)
Canva / Photoshop for thumbnails (preferred)
Trello / Notion / Google Drive for task and content management.
