I’m putting together a sweet, simple picture-book that introduces babies and toddlers (0-3 years) to basic numbers and counting. I want a playful, educational text that keeps little listeners engaged through rhythm, gentle repetition, and vivid, age-appropriate language.
Here’s what I need:
• A complete manuscript that walks young readers from 1 to 10 (or another logical range you suggest) with a clear, consistent pattern so parents can read—and little ones can soon “read” along.
• Page-by-page cues for illustrations (I have an artist lined up, so concise art notes that match the wording are essential).
• A warm, encouraging tone that celebrates curiosity rather than drills facts. Think bouncy, lyrical lines, plenty of onomatopoeia, and opportunities for toddlers to point, clap, or count aloud.
• Word count appropriate for a board book—roughly 200-350 words total, split across 12–16 spreads.
