Toddler Counting Book Writer

I’m putting together a warm, educational board-book aimed at little ones from birth to three years old. The entire storyline revolves around introducing numbers and simple counting through playful, rhythmic text that a caregiver can read aloud in under five minutes.

Here’s what I need:
• A complete manuscript of roughly 150–250 words, broken into short, page-ready spreads that naturally pair with illustrations.
• Clear, age-appropriate language that repeats key numeric words so babies hear them often.
• A gentle narrative arc (beginning, middle, end) even though the focus is educational—think “One sleepy kitten… Two twinkling stars…” rather than a pure list.
• Text cues for potential visuals (e.g., “Five bright balloons floating up”) to guide the illustrator without dictating their style.

Success looks like a final, proof-read Word or Google Doc that a designer can drop straight onto pages, with each spread labeled and all counting elements double-checked for accuracy and flow. If this first book goes smoothly, I may commission follow-ups on the alphabet and on colors.
