Summer Storybook Creation
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I’m bringing a bright, summer-themed story to life for children aged 6–8 and need a creative partner who can handle both the narrative and the artwork. The tone should be fun, adventurous and age-appropriate, with language that early readers can tackle on their own yet still enjoy aloud with an adult.
All illustrations must be hand-drawn in a lively, cartoonish style—think expressive characters, warm colours, and playful scenery that captures the magic of summertime. I’m happy to discuss paper, ink, or digital-tablet workflows as long as the final scans retain that authentic, hand-made feel.
Deliverables
• Story manuscript (approx. 1,200–1,500 words)
• Rough storyboard for page flow approval
• 20–24 full-colour, hand-drawn cartoon illustrations supplied as high-resolution PNGs or layered TIFFs
• Print-ready PDF laid out for standard 8.5" × 11" saddle-stitched format
• Separate text and image files for future translation or repurposing
