Mr. Groom! ?
Mr. Groom was a nice man. He was polite, kind, and very good at pretending to know how the washing machine worked. But most of all, he was very lucky. Why?
Because he was marrying Little Miss Perfect! ?
Well… she was almost perfect.
Because, many moons ago, before this magical wedding day, Little Miss Perfect was also… Little Miss Tipsy. ??
How It All Began
One fateful Bank holiday, Little Miss Tipsy had been out with her friends. She had danced, she had laughed, and she had possibly had one or two (or five) drinks.
Feeling warm, fuzzy, and full of love for the world, she did what any modern woman would do in this situation…
? She opened her dating app.
Now, some people say true love takes time. Some say it happens when you least expect it. But in this case, it happened because Little Miss Tipsy drunkenly replied to Mr Groom instead of deleting the app completely.
And there, waiting on the other side of the app for a reply, was…
Mr. Groom!
Now, in the morning, Little Miss Tipsy woke up and looked at her phone. Had she made a terrible mistake? Had she matched with someone who was a dirty Villa Fan? Or worse… a man who described himself as a “nice guy” in his bio?
No.
Because staring back at her was a message from Mr. Groom, who, against all odds, seemed… normal, how wrong was she.
And so, they agreed to meet.
The First Date
Mr. Groom knew he had to make a good impression. So he turned up looking dashing, charming, and only slightly nervous.
And what did he bring to impress his future wife?
? Flowers… because he was a gentleman.
? Angel cakes… because he was either adorable or an 80-year-old woman.
Now, Little Miss Perfect had two choices:
1️⃣ Laugh at him and run away.
2️⃣ Decide that this was the best thing anyone had ever done for her.
Thankfully, she chose option 2. And from that moment on… they were inseparable.
Happily Ever After
Now, Little Miss Tipsy became Little Miss Perfect.
And Mr. Groom? He never stopped bringing flowers (admittingly not as often as he should), he always shared his cakes, and he still hasn’t figured out the washing machine.
But most importantly, he knew that Little Miss Perfect had saved him. ?
She had made him laugh when he didn’t think he could. She had brought light into his life when it felt dark. She had not just loved him, but truly, deeply, unconditionally believed in him.
And as if that wasn’t enough, she was also the most amazing mum—to their beautiful daughter (Little Miss Sunshine) and to Mr. Groom’s son (Mr. Super Cool), who she loved as her own. She made their house a home, their family whole, and—most impressively—she even managed to train Mr. Groom to put his socks in the laundry.
