Short-Form Drama Script Editor
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am polishing a new drama series made up of quick-hitting 5-10 minute episodes and I need a sharp script editor to make each installment as tight and emotionally engaging as possible. Your job is to take my existing drafts and elevate them—trimming fat, sharpening dialogue, flagging continuity issues, and ensuring every page drives the story forward.
Because the runtime is so compact, every line has to earn its place. I’m looking for clear structural notes, line-level edits, and suggestions that strengthen pacing without losing the dramatic tone. Final scripts should read smoothly for actors and production, with consistent character voices and no loose threads from episode to episode.
Deliverables for each episode:
• A clean, production-ready script in PDF & editable format
• A brief editorial report outlining changes, rationale, and any open questions
• A continuity checklist so we track story and character arcs across the season
I’ll share the current drafts once we start; you return the first edited episode, we do one quick round of revisions, and then we move on to the rest in batches. If you have TV drama experience—especially with short-form or web-series length pieces—let me know; solid knowledge of industry script conventions is important.
