Screenwriter needed for Sci-fi Comedy/Drama
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Looking for a screenwriter to help write a draft(s) for a single location Comedy/Drama with sci-fi and horror elements. I've developed the idea and have some rough beats that we want to hit, but the biggest objective is a contained script that can be shot on a micro budget.
I'd love to talk in more detail (especially in regards to pay). But here is the basic prompt/pitch:
A couple heads away for the weekend to a secluded cabin in the woods. The purpose for this trip is to hide away during the full moon, because she is a werewolf. This is routine for the couple at this stage in their relationship, however, things become more complicated after she is chained up and ready to transform for the night, and her boyfriend mentions that he wants to breakup.
They try to talk through their issues before she turns, all the while a pesky neighbor/hunter tries to find proof of his suspicions that she is a werewolf.

Those are the broad strokes. All is very malleable and I'm very open to suggestion/looking for a collaborator. If this seems interesting to you I'd love to hear from you. Preferably looking for someone in LA, but remote writers are definitely welcome.
As for payment, at this point we don't have a budget. This is an independent passion project that myself and two producing partners are trying to get off the ground. With the hope of shooting late summer 2023. We can certainly talk about upfront payment, however, a larger chunk of earnings would come once we've had a chance to raise funds as well as any backend monies after the film is made.
