Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I am looking for an experienced Booking Agent for my 40-minute One Woman Music Motivation Live Performance - LIGHT. With whom I will share 30% of my fee which is $6,000. I need several promotional materials such as social media content, print materials, web content, etc. to advance the success of this project. I currently have two books available for purchase on Amazon: 1. The 9-Chapter Practice Manual of POSITIVE THOUGHTS, WORDS, and ACTIONS... 2. A Positive Behavior Practice Book. As well, I have just released an EP entitled 4 Song Love Pack that is available on all music platforms, including Spotify, and Amazon. Two of the songs from the show are on all music platforms as well: 1. LIFE, and DIVINE. My nom de plume is JGODDESS aka Janice Marie Singleton.
The booking agent needs to be knowledgeable in the industry. They should have expertise in negotiating the best contracts and music video deals while staying within financial constraints. They need to have the capacity to handle day-to-day operations in ways that align with my goals and vision. Furthermore, they need to have an extensive understanding of the entertainment industry.
The booking agent's responsibility would include setting up production and talent, entering negotiations with venues, settling any disputes, and handling the promotion of events. Additionally, they need to have the ability to market projects, secure press coverage, maintain relationships with agents and venues, and execute logistics and contracts.
It is important to me that the booking agent has excellent communication skills and a passion for creativity. Furthermore, a flexible mindset and the ability to manage deadlines and priorities are essential.
