I want to turn a simple idea—family, fun, and plenty of imagination—into a short children’s story that parents will love to read aloud. The exact age bracket, message, and setting are open; I’d rather see what you find most magical for young listeners than lock you into something too narrow at the start.
Here’s what I need from you:
• A complete, original story that celebrates family and playful adventure, roughly 1 200–1 500 words (happy to adjust if you can justify a different length).
• Engaging characters, a clear but gentle conflict, and a heart-warming resolution.
• Language that stays age-appropriate—lively, rhythmic, and easy to follow whether a child is reading solo or hearing it at bedtime.
• Delivery as an editable Google Doc or Word file, plus a clean PDF once revisions are done.
• Up to two light revision rounds so tone, pacing, and vocabulary land just right.
