Job Overview: The Primary Videographer will be responsible for capturing all main narrative-driven content, focusing on the talent (host) as they find, discover, and engage with the Cazu Marzu. This role requires a good eye for detail, strong framing skills, and the ability to direct talent when necessary.
Creative Vision: An entertaining story about finding and trying rare cheese in Sardinia. Story driven, think Meat Eater + No Reservations. The camera follows Winston, he is the guide of the story.
Key Responsibilities:
Narrative Shots: Capture the host's interactions, and main storytelling moments. This includes close-ups, medium shots, and dialogue.
Action Shots: Film the host’s journey, exploration, and on-location scenes where the story unfolds.
Talent Direction: Work closely with the host to ensure they are positioned correctly in the frame and well-lit, and give direction when needed.
Audio Management: Ensure all dialogue and interviews are captured with clear audio.
Target To Hit:
1 Day of narrative footage: This includes the host’s interactions, reactions, and key moments that drive the story.
High-quality audio: Ensure all dialogue and interviews are crisp and clear.
Key Scene Coverage: Capture all main scenes involving the host, ensuring that no critical moments are missed.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in filming documentary-style or narrative-driven content.
Strong skills in framing, lighting, and audio management.
Ability to work closely with the talent and direct them when necessary.
