Museum Exhibit Proposal Letter
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a concise, informative and well written letter to the chief curator of the local art museum to propose what will inevitably a successful popular exhibit, i.e., a collection of work by pinhole photographers around the country and possibly the world. That letter must establish the following facts:
Why this is the right time and place for such a show and why I am the person in this town best qualified to curate it.
The fact I have curated two shows (locally) featuring this unique form of photography.
The additional fact that I have created a body of work in this form.
The the growing awareness of the numerous down sides of technology is also a factor. Low tech photography will be both a welcome change in viewing and a statement in itself.
I envision two parts two the proposal. The letter to the curator will cover all the above. A second part will be a brief history of origins of lensless photography and some of its famous uses and practitioners.
Please do not bid on this project unless you have experience in this form of persuasive writing. If you don't I will simply ignore the message.
