Home Improvement & Property Journalists Wanted (Australian audience)
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
We are seeking talented freelance writers to create engaging articles focused on home improvement, DIY weekend projects, interior design, and architecture. The ideal candidates will have a passion for these subjects and the ability to produce high-quality, informative content that resonates with readers. If you have experience writing in this niche and can adhere to deadlines, we would love to see your work. Please include samples of your previous articles in your application.
The work should be of high journalistic integrity.
The types of articles you will write must resonate well with our readers, who are interested in all aspects of home improvement, architecture, design and lifestyles.

Essentially, it's a media publication covering all things home improvement, interior design, weekend projects, and lifestyles. The site and businesses is based in Australia, for an Australian audience.
My main goal right now is to collaborate with real estate agents, builders and designers to form a pipeline of content.
What I'm looking for right now is a team of full-time, part-time, or casual contributors who are willing to go into our publication.
Ideally, the right candidate will have:
- A passion for beautiful homes, interior design, architecture, renovations AND first-hand experience in these fields (for example, you've renovated your own home, or you have a strong passion for gardening, often do weekend projects, etc.)
- Have a strong background in property journalism, freelance writing or editorial content
- Are willing to have your name (and bio) be featured in our publication, including on the website, social media channels, etc.
We are NOT after somebody who:
- Will create low-quality, mass-produced content
- Will use ChatGPT or other AI tools to produce our content. We have tools to screen for this, and if we discover that you are using AI to write content, your application or employment will be rejected immediately. This is because we want to REAL people writing REAL content. We don't want robotic content. Furthermore, Google will not rank our website if we use AI tools to generate our articles.
- Is not interested, or has no passion, for the fields of real estate, property, interior design,
