Grant Writer for Veteran-Owned Startup (Commission-Based)
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Job Description:
I’m looking for an experienced grant writer to help secure funding for my startup business. My company specializes in residential maintenance and repair services, and I need funding to purchase inventory and begin initial marketing efforts.
Details:
• Compensation: 20% of the total grant amount, paid directly from the grant funds once awarded. This means the more substantial the grant, the higher your commission.
• Business Purpose: The grant will be used to buy necessary inventory and fund marketing efforts aimed at establishing and growing the business.
• Revenue Projections:
• Month 1: We expect to generate $20,000 in revenue.
• Month 6: Revenue is projected to grow to $50,000 per month.
• Veteran-Owned Business: I served 10 years on active duty and am now a member of the Oregon Army National Guard.
My military experience has shaped the way I approach business, with a focus on discipline, efficiency, and commitment.
What I’m Looking For:
• Experience: You should have a track record of successfully securing grants, especially for startups or small businesses.
• Understanding: Familiarity with grants for veteran-owned businesses is helpful but not required.
• Motivation: You should be comfortable working on a commission basis, with your earnings tied to the success of the grants you secure.
This role is ideal for someone who prefers straightforward arrangements and is confident in their ability to secure funding. If that sounds like you, I’d like to hear from you. Please include examples of your previous work with grants.
