Free-Verse Poetry eBook Enhancement

Job ID: 40342084

Budget: €12 – €18 EUR

I have drafted a collection of free-verse poems that explore human emotions and relationships in all their messy, intimate detail, and now I want the language to truly sing on the page. Your task is to take my raw manuscript and carry out a deep linguistic adaptation—tightening the flow, enriching diction, smoothing transitions, and ensuring the tone remains consistent from the opening verse to the final line break.

Scope
• Refine approximately 8,000–10,000 words of poetry without imposing rigid meter or rhyme; the free-verse form must stay intact.
• Preserve my personal voice while heightening imagery, sensory depth, and emotional resonance.
• Flag any passages that feel redundant or unclear and suggest stronger alternatives.
• Standardise punctuation and formatting for eBook distribution (EPUB + clean Word file).
• Provide a brief editorial overview explaining your key changes and stylistic choices.

Acceptance Criteria
The final manuscript should read fluidly on both mobile and tablet eReaders, maintain a cohesive narrative arc around love, loss, and connection, and return with tracked changes plus a polished, publication-ready copy.

If you have a strong portfolio in contemporary poetry editing—or you write it yourself—I’d love to see how you can elevate this work.
