Fluent Literary Translation Needed
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I have a literary text that must be translated so smoothly the reader never suspects it began in another language. The original voice, imagery, and emotional cadence all need to survive the journey into the new tongue.
I will confirm the target language with the selected translator, but please indicate which language(s) you’re most comfortable handling at this level. Past work with novels, short stories, poetry, or creative nonfiction is especially valuable, so link me to any published pieces or portfolio samples that show you can sustain nuance and style.
Deliverables
• Polished, publication-ready translation in an editable format (Word or Google Docs)
• A short translator’s note (1-2 paragraphs) highlighting key cultural or stylistic choices
