Creative Short Story

I'm looking for a talented writer to help with a short story. A couple of years ago, my girlfriend wrote a short story (one page, single-spaced, small font) with two animals--a bunny and a tiger--anthropomorphised as the two of us. She's a well-educated lawyer, well-spoken, and a creative writer. The story was sweet, humorous, clever, and endearing. It summarized the previous year of our relationship with hopes to come. Furthermore, it was accompanied by a small "comic" depicting the events told in the story. I'd like to give a similar item in return.

Alas, if only I were a skilled writer like she is. I've tried, but my writing seems to lack the details--and "zest"--that comprise a good short story. I can do my best to provide details about our relationship, my fondness of her, and hopes for the future, but need help developing a good base.
