Comedy Curator for New Digital Platform (US Only)
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Midtown Show is a new digital platform spotlighting rising stand-up comedians through curated short-form video. We’re inviting a small group of early curators to help shape the voice of the platform by building themed comedy collections, adding personal commentary, and monetizing through affiliate marketing and fan support.
What You’ll Do
- Curate short comedy “series” from public Instagram stand-up clips
- Write titles, tags, or short commentary to frame the vibe of your picks
- Add affiliate links (e.g. for tour tickets, Patreon, or merch)
- Optionally record a short video intro or reaction clip to personalize your series
- Share and promote your curated content to your network or social followers
Who We’re Looking For
- People with strong taste in comedy or ties to local/indie comedy scenes
- Creators, comedians, or fans who love discovering and amplifying new talent
- Some experience or familiarity with affiliate marketing (or willing to learn)
- Self-starters who want creative freedom and income potential — not fixed hours
- Social fluency — ideally with presence on platforms like TikTok or Instagram
Compensation
- This is a performance-based role with no base salary to start
- You keep 100% of affiliate earnings tied to your curated series
- You can earn optional tip revenue from fans
- You receive full credit and visibility for your work on Midtown Show
- Top-performing curators may receive a base monthly stipend of up to $1,000
- Select curators may also be invited to paid sponsorship collaborations as the platform grows
