Modern Corporate Guide Redesign

Job ID: 40512342

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I'm looking for a designer to redesign a 12-page interview preparation guide. The content is solid but the design is dated and generic. I want something that feels like it was made in 2025, not 2012.

What I'm Looking For

The vibe: Modern, editorial, and confident. Think the design sensibility of a well-designed Substack or publications like Wired or Fast Company — professional enough to be taken seriously, but with real personality. I want this document to feel like it was made by a real person who cares about the reader — not a corporate handout.

What to avoid:
• Too corporate: navy blue, stock photos, generic icons of briefcases and light bulbs, overly "professional" sans-serif everything.
• Navy or royal blue headers with white reversed-out text
• Clip art, decorative borders, or generic icon sets
• Anything that looks like a PowerPoint template from 2010

What I’d like to see:
• A distinctive but readable headline font (something with personality)
• Clean, generous body text that's comfortable to read
• Abstract or geometric graphic elements rather than photos
• Could lean into typographic design elements (large numerals, bold rules, etc.) instead of imagery altogether

The sweet spot is something like:
• a beautiful serif heading font paired with a clean sans-serif body font
• one or two signature colors (maybe a deep green, burgundy, dusty blue, or a warm neutral)
• elegant pull quotes
• little recurring details

Deliverables
• Redesigned 12-page guide (PDF)
• Source files
• Font files or licensing info for any non-system fonts used
