About the Project:
The Chai Games is a new national competition to discover the country’s leading chaiwala. The event will consist of regional heats leading up to a grand national final. The competition is expected to appeal to a young, urban, middle-class audience, especially in the 18–26 age group.
Design Goal:
We want a modern, stylish, and memorable logo that reflects both heritage and youth culture. The logo should feel premium but still carry the vibrancy and warmth of chai culture. It must work well across digital and print formats (social media, merchandise, posters, banners, etc.).
Target Audience:
Age: 18–26
Young professionals, college students, and urban middle-class
People who enjoy chai culture as both a tradition and a lifestyle trend.
Style & Inspiration:
Blend of modern typography with subtle traditional Indian elements (cups, steam, kettle, etc.)
Bold yet friendly
Vibrant, warm color palette (earthy browns, rich oranges, deep greens, golden tones)
Should feel like a national competition / festival while still being youthful and trendy
