Interior Design Student / Junior Designer Needed – Paid Residential Project (Houston)

I’m looking for a talented interior design student or junior designer in the Houston area to help with several rooms in my home. This is a paid project and a great opportunity to build your portfolio with real, styled spaces.

What I need help with:
- Paint color selection (cohesive palette across rooms)
- Layout and furniture suggestions
- Lighting recommendations (modern, designer feel)
- Wall treatments (art placement, possible wallpaper, design features)
- Sourcing items within a budget
- Realistic mockups / visualizations (VERY important)

Style direction:
Modern, high-end, slightly artistic. I like bold but intentional design choices (not basic or builder-grade).

Scope:
Starting with 1–2 rooms (dining room + one additional space), with potential to expand to more rooms.

Ideal candidate:
- Interior design student or recent grad
- Strong eye for color and composition
- Can create mood boards and realistic mockups (Photoshop, SketchUp, etc.)
- Has a portfolio (school work is fine)

Compensation:
Flexible based on experience. Open to hourly or flat rate per room.
