Brainstorm My Next Craft

Job ID: 40443176

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m looking for a maker-minded freelancer who can guide me from a completely blank slate to a clear, build-ready concept. Right now I just know I want to create something with my own hands—perhaps in wood, metal, or fabric—and I’m open to ideas that could turn into home décor, a practical everyday item, or even a thoughtful gift. I need your creative eye to help me decide what, exactly, I should make and to outline how to make it happen.

Here’s what I’d like from you:
• 3–5 concept proposals, each with a short written pitch explaining the purpose of the piece and why it’s a good fit for a beginner‐to-intermediate maker.
• For every accepted concept, a simple sketch or reference image plus a concise materials/tools list (include common workshop staples like saws or sewing machines if required).
• Basic step-by-step build notes so I understand the workflow, rough time commitment, and any safety considerations.

Acceptance criteria: the concepts must be realistically buildable at home without industrial machinery and use materials that are easy to source locally or online.

If you have a background in woodworking, metalworking, textile arts—or a blend of all three—this is your chance to shape the entire direction of my next hands-on project. I’ll review the proposals, choose one, and may invite you to continue on a separate contract for detailed plans or live build support.
