Bold Office Acrylic Painting Commission
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m commissioning a 60 × 40-inch painting for my home office. I already have a reference image that captures the mood I’m after, and I’d like you to create an original piece inspired by it—not a direct copy. Think bold, graphic, and modern with a figurative edge: clean lines, strong shapes, and highly detailed work that stops short of photorealism.
Color should lean heavily toward warm reds, oranges, and yellows while staying faithful to the reference palette overall. I’d also like abstract shapes woven into the composition to keep the energy contemporary.
Acrylic is my first choice for its quick drying time and crisp finish, but I’m open to oil if you feel it will elevate the result and still keep us on budget. The final work needs to be on rolled canvas only so shipping remains affordable; I’ll stretch and frame it locally.
Typical flow that works well for me:
• A quick concept sketch or digital mock-up for approval
• Progress photos at key stages (under-painting, mid-layers, final pass)
• A clear, well-protected roll-up and shipment once fully cured and signed
The piece is strictly for personal décor—no resale, licensing, or commercial use. If this style excites you and you’re confident working large-scale with bold, warm palettes, let’s talk timing and any questions you have about the reference image.
