AP Art: Hyper-realistic Digital Graphite Portrait

I’m submitting this artwork for my AP Art and Design Selected Work, so it needs to look like one of the best graphite portraits ever — clean, artistic, and expressive. I’ve attached my original portrait as the reference. Please do not redraw me differently — just re-create it digitally and refine it with the instructions below.

Goal:
Make this look like a hyper-realistic graphite portrait that could earn 97%+ in AP scoring. It must still look hand-drawn, not AI-generated or photo-edited. Keep the human feel.
Programs you can use (your choice):
Procreate (preferred)
IbisPaint
Medibang Paint
Krita
Clip Studio Paint
(No Adobe required — any professional digital drawing app works as long as it supports pressure-sensitive graphite brushes.)
Instructions:
Recreate the portrait digitally using my reference (attached).
Use graphite-style brushes (4B–8B) with textured pencil look.
Deepen the value range — stronger darks under chin, in hair, around eyes, and background contrast.
Add smooth, realistic shading and blended gradients for the face, keeping some visible pencil texture.
Add reflected light and highlights on the cheekbones, nose bridge, lips, and eyes.
Keep the zig-zag background lines, but make them fade slightly at the edges — they should represent energy and confidence.
Slightly polish the proportions (symmetry, eyes, chin) but do not change my features.
Add a subtle light gray tone in the background to make the figure pop.
The overall look should be clean, elegant, and refined — old-money portrait style, but with a modern edge.
Export at 3000×4000 px, 300 DPI, PNG format.
Quality Target:
It must look museum-level, expressive, and realistic — like a final portfolio piece. Every line and shadow should look intentional.
