c++ vscode setup with compiler and debugger in c++ in linux unbuntu

I'm having trouble setting up my environment for c++ using vscode and g++ compiler and gdb for debugger.

I am willing to pay for someone to go through this process with me to figure out what I am doing wrong when setting this up.
