C/C++ project expert

We are a cybersecurity company with a mission to secure the software supply chain.
We are currently looking for an experienced developer with knowledge of both C/C++ and Java to help us improve the accuracy and reach of our C/C++ vulnerability scanning. This requires analysis into known vulnerabilities in the C language to both improve the accuracy of our data and to identify potential improvements for our C/C++ project scanner, and then to do some development work in Java to implement these improvements.
We are looking for someone that understands C and the C ecosystem well and has extensive experience with how C projects, are being built and how development teams are organized. Having experience in the IoT and embedded space is an asset
We are looking for someone that is interested to do this long term for one or two days a week and that will be part of our vulnerability accuracy team and participates in weekly team meetings. We currently have a fully remote working environment.
