We need to figure out the algorithm to communicate with the old Alpha II (A1R+) energy meter.
There is an initial meter packet that has 4 random bytes (INPUT) inside and the software (AlphaPlus. .exe) should respond with a packet that has 4 bytes (OUTPUT) inside with the response key.

We are looking for someone who can decode the .exe with a decomplier Assembler and find the algorithm to discover the output. (IDA, Ghidra, x64DBG, GDB & OllyDBG,etc)
The software is for DOS and runs on Windows XP 32-bit. (can also run in DOSBOX on any 64-bit Windows)
I attach APLUS.rar AlphaPlus software ... the "ALFP.exe" and other files are not in PE format.
We can provide support and help understand how the software works, but it is simple and used to download measurements from ABB/Elster ALPHA 2 energy meters with proprietary protocol.
