simple setup of a cpp project

I am looking for a freelancer to assist me in setting up the libsnark library and running it and generating zksnark proofs. The library does the proof generation. My problem is that I'm not an expert on cpp and keep getting errors trying to set up the git repo: https://github.com/scipr-lab/libsnark. If you are a cpp expert, this won't take long for you. I am willing to dedicate as much time as required, as well. After setting up, we need to write one new test inspired by the current tests. Also, I think part of the problem is that I'm on Mac M1.
