C/C++ coder expert in Raspberry Pi and SDL to help create "Soda" game engine

I want to create a new game engine based on the MiniScript (https://miniscript.org) language and SDL. It must perform well, especially on Raspberry Pi. I need a Pi expert to help me get it up and running, laying a solid foundation to build upon.

We already have a working C++ implementation of MiniScript. The game API will be based on that of Mini Micro (see attached, and the wiki at https://miniscript.org/wiki/Mini_Micro), though initially the only kind of display we need to support is SpriteDisplay. The C# source code of Mini Micro will be provided for reference.
