Windows Software Update Automation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm in need of a software solution that can handle automatic updates for specific applications on the Windows platform. This solution should seamlessly integrate with the existing system environment and ensure constant, uninterrupted functionality.
Key requirements:
- Automatic implementation of software updates for selected applications without any manual intervention.
- Ensure stability and compatibility with the Windows operating system.
- Through troubleshooting skills to detect and resolve any conflicts or issues that might arise during updates.
Ideal skills and expertise:
- Strong experience in Windows system and software updates.
- Proficient in automation tools and strategies related to software updates.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations.

I cannot believe - simply CANNOT believe - I am going through this for the 3rd time!!!
So this is simple folks.
I either create a new program or I make changes to an existing program.
We have 20 laptops out in the field (Around the world)
Their laptops will be immediately updated with anything new that I push to the server.
Simple as that.
I use CuteFTP to upload my files and I need the freelancer to create something that will automatically downloand and install. ALWAYS overwrite.
The files will be images - spreadsheets - runtime secured programs - drivers - etc.
If the folder does not exist - your downloader will create it on the remote PC automatically.
Sometimes there will be more than 40 items (graphics inside of a folder for the program)
These laptops are identical in model and manufacturer (not sure that matters)
If the files are in location A on the server they will go to A
If B - go to B
If C - go to C
and so on.....
Because I am now 10 days into this mess with freelancers who claim to know what they are doing - I will expect to see video/screenshots/live demo that you actually KNOW what you are doing.
We have wasted a LOT of time on freelancers who are not up to the task and cannot afford to waste time any longer.
If you are VERY knowledgable in this subject, please bid. If you are not - DON'T
We will handle our job on the uploads - you do not need to worry about that.
Yours is to simply ensure that EVERYONE is updated once we push a change and that the change is reflected quickly on the remote PCs.
We have 3 laptops here on AnyDesk you can trial the work on and I will exhaustively test the process before releasing the milestone.
We assume that there will be a script developed by you that will have to be installed on each PC to ensure they are receiving the updates. You are free (again) to test your script on one of the 3 PCs we have available for testing.
