Windows Daemon C

I have a windows daemon that is written in c. This daemon is a core part of my application. It works 85 percent of the time with no issues. Lately we have been experiencing rapid attacks trying to shut down the service. It has been effective. It causes the socket connection to stop working. I need someone that is an expert in winsock version 1.1 and 2. This application is very old and it take someone with exceiption knowledge of sockets in C. This is a very important project!
