Windows Camera Color Matching Application
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
This application connects to two cameras at the same time via RTSP video. The video previews come from RTSP stream from each camera which is entered via the local area network IP address. The application runs a video analysis to compare the two video streams or takes a picture snapshot of each and comares those. The user is trying to match the colors between both cameras. This application gives the user details about the analysis in order to help the user match the color, exposure, contrast, and brightness.
To run the analysis you will need to store data about each camera's video feed. Or you could take a picture and compare each picture when the analysis button is pressed.
There are also filters that can be applied to the 2nd camera to see if the filter makes a positive difference. These filters are called LUTs (Look Up Tables) and they are applied on top of the video. This can be an optional feature there is open source code available to apply filters to video or images we can refer too.

Three tools are used to calculate the color and exposure of cameras which are explained in the attached document. These are a vectorscope, a waveform monitor, and a histogram.
The application gives the user a few different ways to view these monitors and the live camera video.
