Win32 GUI C++ modeless dialogue box

This is an Win32 C++ job no MFC.
I am looking for a simple modeless dialogue box with the following functionality. The modeless dialogue box should have an edit control where text can be inserted and a button. On click of the button the edit control should be emptied, the text should be displayed below the edit control as a tag. On click of the tag text the tag should disappear. The tag text should have a different color background and a x icon to show the tag text can be removed. Looking for 5 tag texts to be added. Theses tags should be available for further use in my program.
The dialogue box will be reused in a personal project and I am looking to learn from this example. I am using VS2019.
