WiFi Integration with u-blox Odin-W260 Module

Job ID: 39203200

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

I'm looking for a seasoned professional who can assist me in expanding our current u-blox Odin-W260 module's functionality. The module is currently equipped for Bluetooth communication over UART in Extended Data Mode (EDM). The task is to add WiFi (specifically Access Point mode with TCP/IP stack) over the same UART interface.

Key requirements:
- Add WiFi support in the existing EDM setup of the Odin-W260.
- Ensure seamless and reliable transmission of both WiFi and Bluetooth data over a single UART interface to an i.MX7 SoM running our C++ application.
- Debug and optimize any issues that arise during the integration of WiFi AP functionality with our current setup.

The ideal candidate would have:
- Prior experience working with u-blox Odin-W260 modules.
- Expertise in implementing or extending EDM mode for dual connectivity (WiFi + Bluetooth).
- Proficiency in C++ for debugging and testing purposes.
- Strong problem-solving skills to tackle potential challenges such as signal interference, bandwidth allocation, and protocol compatibility issues.

Please note, we are not sharing the Internet via the WiFi, rather it is for local network communication with secure access and authentication. Furthermore, all types of Bluetooth data (real-time data, file transfers, and control commands) need to be transmitted alongside the WiFi data. A functional state machine where Bluetooth and WiFi coexists with AT-Commands is essential.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your proposals.
