Very Simple GUI for existing program
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
If you are not familiar with the Intel Hex file format, please stop right now and don't bid on this project. I have no patience for those who say they can do the job and waste days or weeks of my time.
The Project:
I have a program that edits text(hex) files and produces the output in another hex file. For this program, I had a GUI created that was written in C Sharp. The program is only a very simple GUI for an existing command line program called srec_cat.exe.
The GUI is working, however the original coder I hired was not familiar with the hex file format, therefore a minor component was left out. I did not notice this until NOW (two years later). So I am back here again to see if I can find someone to update the existing source code or start from scratch. The GUI does nothing except run the console program and then just edit one line of text at the end of the file, nothing more.
If you are 100% familiar with the Intel Hex Format, please send me a message for more details. The modification is simple, and I believe it can be done in 1 - 2 hours.
